Georgian hospitality in Paris — food, wine and a way of life

Famille Géorgienne · Paris
Our story
Famille Géorgienne is a living space, entirely designed and shaped by painter Nino Mania and her husband Giorgi Aleksandria. Here, Georgian hospitality is lived as much as it is told.
Khinkali and khachapuri, emblematic dishes passed down through generations, embody a living, artisanal craft. At the table, they are paired with a selection of Georgian wines, heirs to a winemaking tradition over 8,000 years old — one of the oldest in the world.
8000 · Qvevri
Georgian wine and the qvevri
A qvevri is a buried clay vessel used for winemaking. It gives its name to a traditional Georgian method. It invites us to see wine as a relationship between material, time and knowledge passed on.
